Thought Lucca would be some quiet rustic walled city but Via Fillungo and the adjacent streets set us straight. Plenty of bars for men and shops for partners who love that sort of thing.

Great street to walk along with many shops of various types, lots at artisan types. Very popular and rightly so as it was a wonderful place to wander along. Some nice streets off this Main Street too. Became our go to street when we lost...More

The arterial street in the old city. Many interesting shops with a wide variety of goods and wares. Beware, some are more expensive than you may expect. The ‘way’ is very busy in both directions with the bustle of both locals and visitors, going about...More

This is the main street and is busy all day. It’s worth a stroll as it winds past various interesting landmarks and there is usually interesting activities taking place.

Main long angled street full of shops that give you a good taste of what the walled part of the town is all about.

One of the longer streets in Lucca, Via Fillungo is a good landmark when just strolling through the streets. There several stores and restaurants and gelato bars along the street.
