Let's face it, you can do Pisa in half a day. Don't get me wrong, it's a lovely city with much to offer beyond the Piazza dei Miracoli, but lets face it... you've come to Pisa to see the Tower and then lo and behold, there's more here. Get passed the tourists pretending to push the tower straight for photo... More

The church, baptistery and bell tower are lovely in their own right for some nice photos. Of course, the leaning tower adds a new level to the visual appeal. Worth a look even if you can’t get into the tower itself. I had done some research on the history of the tower and also brought with me before and after... More

This is a sight to see - the Duomo, the Leaning Tower and the Baptistery all together in one area. You get tickets to see what you are interested in. The place is busy all day with tourists, especially Japanese, all trying to get a photo of them holding up the Tower. It is quieter later on in the day... More

The plaza is clean and inviting. Provides many perspectives to view the tower. Indistinguishable from the tower itself (I.e., you appreciate the tower from the inside). Numerous souvenir stops and cafes around the periphery. Wonderful. No charge to enter. 18 euros to enter tower and cathedral. Easy to find, great signage for tower and parking.

We enjoyed watching the work on restoring fresco on the walls. We met some wonderful workers who helped us find the tomb of Deane Keller, who was on of the Monument Men d u ring WWII.

We were incredibly underwhelmed by the Leaning Tower and museums. The old grave yard is beautiful (Camposanto) and the church is certainly stunning. However, there are many stunning churches throughout Italy and the Baptistry here is very empty with little meaning. I would recommend not staying in Pisa and only making a short trip to see the tower and get... More

You don't have to pay anything at all to wander the Field of Miracles are enjoy the architecture. We were there on a rainy March day, and although the weather was not ideal it did keep down the crowds. If you want to buy tickets to enter the tower, the the baptistry, the cemetery, or the museum, you can do... More

Was unsure of Pisa weather in March but on a clear day it is so spectacular to walk around and view. Highly recommended it.

Piazza Dei Miraco is a spacious place with nice gardens and lanes for walking. I felt at peace there despite the mob of people walking around.
