As you’re walking down Pisa’s busy high street it’s easy to miss this little unassuming church nestled between the shops, but it’s worth taking a look inside. It’s quite small and understated, but very beautiful with some wonderful paintings and sculptures.

Nice but not A grade church but the lovely cloisters were a surprise. Including the marker above head height for the Great Flood of 1869!

The outside of this church on the main shopping street is very plain by Italian standards but the inside has a few nice surprises

A pretty unassuming church we happened upon during our 3 hour tour of Lucca. Nothing to write home about but worth a look. The ceiling was really the highlight of the church.

I stumbled onto this church in a dreary evening when a mass was going on. The building is very simple in its interior in the Franciscan way, a welcome contrast with the duomo and other churches in Pisa. I recommend to see this edifice

This church is simple. After seeing all the grandeur around the place this might not be the one you would look forward to unless if you have a specific thing in mind .
