About
Our Winery San Quirico in San Gimignano is runned by Vecchione family since 1860. We produce 750 Hl of organical red and white wines and a quality of Extravirgin Olive Oil in organic farm. In 2004 our Farm obtained the Organcal Certification through the QC control body srl. Since 2012 also the vinification method is certified organic. All wines our produced with our own grapes grown in our vineyards in San Gimignano: Vernaccia di S. Gimignano Traditional and Riserva Isabella (matured in barrels for about 24 months) Chianti Colli Senesi Docg (100% Sangiovese Selection) San Gimignano Rosso Doc - Botticello" (Sangiovese, Merlot and Syrah, aging in oak barrels for about 2 years) Organic Extravirgin Olive Oil (acidity 0.1%, only first pressing, cold temperature of pressing) Thanks to wine tastings directly in our winery, we involve our clients to live an emotional experience, to discover the history, the various stages of processing that bring fruits of vineyards into a glass of wine!

My husband and I visited this organic winery while driving from Siena to San Gimignano on a visit to Tuscany. The views at the winery (as well as driving to and from) were amazing...you can see San Gimignano in the distance!!
We booked in advance and received a comprehensive tour of the production area from the owner of the vineyard. She explained that each grape is hand selected for quality and health when making organic wine.
We enjoyed homemade bruschetta with our tastings and learned that the vineyard has been in her family since 1860!
The wine was fantastic (Isabella was my favorite) and reasonably priced, so we had a case shipped home. Now we have a little piece of this authentic experience to enjoy with each glass of wine. Grazie San Quirico!!!

We visited this place yesterday and we were a party of nine. We absolutely loved it. Luigi was amazing and he gave us a tour, it was so interesting. Then after that we went to another room and we had some amazing food and cold cuts along with their five wines to taste and then took us to the shop where you could purchase their olive oil and wines and were presented in beautiful boxes. Loved the day and will go back to purchase more of the beautiful wine it was so lovely.

Definitely a must if you’re in the area! Thank you

The people who run this little winery are so friendly. There was a big storm shortly before we arrived, and while their electricity wasn’t working at the moment, they invited us inside for a wine tasting. Electricity was soon restored, and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious, very affordable wines offered. We bought several bottles. They have some of the best value wines in Tuscany!

We visited this lovely winery after our visit to San Gimignano. It is a little tricky to find when driving away from SG with our Sat Nav taking us the wrong way. Quite unassuming from the outside but don’t be fooled, this is a successful family run business that produces some fine wines and olive oil. Tiziana was our host and provided us with a very informative tour of the estate. After, we were treated to some bread, ham and cheese and a selection of wines. We bought a few bottles too and would highly recommend a visit.

Titsiana the host was very welcoming and explained in detail the vinification process. The 15 hectare winery is one of the best and everyone visiting Tuscany must visit.

We arrived at the winery as a tasting with food was about to start. The presenter allowed us to join in, which was so nice. The wines and olive oil were delicious, especially the Vin Santo. I took a chance and brought one back to the US in my luggage - it arrived in one piece!

We had a wonderful tour with Luigi. He informed us of the differences in how wines are made. I learned a lot more here than on other tours. The wines were fabulous and the cheese, meat and bread a treat too.
