A bit confusing and crowded especially to find nearby parking. Once parked we had a bit of a walk (must wear comfortable shoes for walking) but once inside the city the piazza was worth seeing. Lots of history and good food, cafes etc.
We visited 5 years ago & have raved about the gelato ever since. The queue this time was 25m long & the whole town was just too crowded. Volterra offers the same quality but with far more manageable numbers
