My wife and I are not in the best of shape but we managed our way to the top. What's nice is that you'll get incredible views, they only let up 25 people at a time so it's not overly jammed . . . but you really only get 5-10 minutes up top. This is was more than enough but... More

We had limited time so we're only able to visit the Panorama del Facciatone accessed through the Museum. We had to wait a little while as they only allow limited numbers at one time. The climb was 130 steps - easy! The views were brilliant.

This museum does not get the respect it deserves. Many of the objects would be the best work in many American museums. It's not real big, but more than worth the time and price expended. Be sure to look up in the gift shop. It must be one of the most decorated stores in the world. The ceiling and walls... More

It contains an extensive number of religious works of art, from paintings to the original scuptures from the Duomo's façade (by Giovanni Pisano), as well as the original stained-glass round window from the cathedral and many religious relics. One can also climb upstairs and have an breath-taking view of the city.

The museum of the Duomo has many treasures that were originally in the Duomo including the stained glass window and the main altarpiece. Highly recommend climbing the steps to the Panorama (accesible only through the Museo) for breathtaking views of all Siena. If possible at sunset .. Siena's sky at susnset is amazing.

By far the best view of all the major parts of the city. Plus the museum you get to walk through to get to the view has some incredible pieces also. We were only allowed 5mins out on the ledge however it felt like longer and wasn't rushed.

This was an excellent opportunity to view the entire city and see the cathedral at a higher elevation. The steps can be challenging due to the narrowness and spiral nature. The museum holds the original stained glass for the cathedral and many statues. Take your time visiting the whole museum and purchase the 3-day, 4 attraction pass.

They only let around 30 up at a time so you could be in for a bit of a wait. A long climb up winding stairs. Not for the faint hearted as there is not much evidence of health and safety T the top. There is no danger that you will fall but this is not really one for small... More

The museum offers different pieces from the cathedral, however the access to a tower is worthwhile as the view over Siena is very nice.

Even for an opera buff there really not a lot to see but the real attraction, and a terrific one at that, is the climb up a narrow spiral staircase to the top where you get a fantastic view of the whole town and especially the cathedral right next door.
