Entering into this class as a family with two adult children, we anticipated a hands on experience lasting several hours, where everyone in our group would have a chance to prepare each course of a full Italian meal. However, this was not the case. At the beginning of the class the chef gave a brief overview of each course at... More

We took this cooking class kind of last-minute and could join a group of language students. We had a lot of fun preparing the food together and afterwards enjoyed our selfmade meal. The chef explained everything in Italian and his lovely assistant translated it into English for us. It was by far the best food we had on our trip... More

My wife and I took 4 lessons. Each time it was a different menu with 2 different chefs. It was hands-on, not intimidating and just lots of fun. Afterwards, you eat with the group, drink wine with the meal you have jointly prepared, laugh, talk and enjoy the meal and the company.

I took the evening cooking class during my trip to Siena. It was really fun and I learned a lot. It was a small group and the instructors were knowledgeable and friendly. We cooked a huge meal including antipasto, pasta, chicken and a dessert and dined together with wine. It was delicious!

Art and Cooking is a fantastic program in the heart of Siena. The instructors are outstanding, incredibly knowledgable but also extremely patient. They made cooking complex and daunting dishes accessible and fun. I not only learned how to cook numerous new plates but I also felt capable of going home and replicating what we had done in class from memory.... More

This was a super experience! The two instructors made the group prepare the meal with their excellent guidance. I highly recommend this class to give you a real experience of Tuscany. I would do this class over and over again.

Fantastic way to spend a few hours in Siena! We took a cooking class with our 11 & 8 year old children and had a wonderful time! Instructions were easy to follow and everyone had a chance to work on all the dishes! We enjoyed the personal attention from Vicki and Louisa and the food was outstanding! We will definitely... The chefs at Dante try to teach professional presentation, but all with a smile and fun. Kind people who help you whenever needed! The recipes are super Italian, diverse and the menus are extensive..! Good value for money! I already came back once and no doubt will be back ♡ Carolien.

I studied italian language at Dante Alighieri for 6 months and took many cooking courses during my stay. I enjoyed every single lesson and met many people who are interested in italian cooking or who are intending to be a chef. The teachers are very experienced professionals and also very kind and fun. I would love to go back and... More
