This church is located on a pretty piazza and is just off the main pedestrian street. In a country of so many churches, some spectacular and some plain, this falls into the rather plain category. Nevertheless, the facade is classical and flanked by some impressive...More

Pleasant, ancient church in Piazza Tolomei. Around a five-minute stroll from Piazza del Campo A "secondary sight" but well worth a look if you're passing by.

The exterior entrance to this church with the columns and sculpture make for a very good photo. The fact that this is one of the oldest churches just increases the visit value. No charge to go inside.

This rather understated church is worth a brief visit, if only to get away from the crowds. By no means as ornate as others, it is perhaps better suited for a period of quiet reflection than most.

A very nice little church not from the Duomo, an therefore often overlooked. Especially nice is the carved wooden statue of Padre Pio, Italy's most famous modern saint, hearing confessions.
