Yet another beautiful and striking building to the Catholic Church. The Battistero is worth a visit.

You can visit here as part of the combo ticket, 15 euros. Superb ceilings. The light show, lasts about 15 mins, was not that good.

The small but exquisite Baptistry of Saint John is located at the square with the same name, near the cathedral. It was built in the early 14th century by Camaino di Crescentino with the unfinished facade in the Gothic style. It shouldn’t be missed, because...More

All the guide books seem to have different opening time information. Consequently, we arrived well before it opened (no problem: nice coffee opposite) and got in as soon as the doors opened. Best time to go. The next visitors didn't arrive for 25 minutes. Couldn't...More

When you visit Sienna’s cathedral you might miss this place. It is located on the other side of the cathedral and has its own separate entrance. It’s not very big but worth a visit.

A small baptistery but it has some nice artwork from the late medieval/early renaissance period. I saw some previous reviews that didn’t give it much credit and I get that but I think it’s worth a look.
