Exceptional views

It requires a long climb up a very narrow winding staircase but it is worth the effort. The views of the entire city and surrounding area is fantastic.

Well worth queuing for a ticket and climbing the stairs to get up to the place for the stunning view over the rooftops of Siena

This attraction is included in the OPA Pass and it is a great way to finish your visit to the Cathedral complex. WARNING: If you suffer vertigo or if you are not in a good shape, do not attempt it. It is a lot of stairs and really narrow halls on your way to the top. Views are fantastic!

The view is indescribably beautiful. Tuscan prospects at their most breath-taking. Make this a piority; it's worth the queue.

THIS IS A REVIEW OF THE LIGHT AND HISTORY SHOW CALLED "Divina bellezza - Dreaming Siena" which is shown on the Facciatone. While visiting the facciatone is a great way to get a feel for local history, along with a wonderful view, the show callsed "Divina Bellezza - Dreaming Siena" is simply a way to get money from tourists. This parking lot today was once part of the church with pillar foundations laid out in the parking lot. As you look up you can see the arches and the supports but without a roof. It is about the same height as the Cathedral itself so just another look at structures used in building huge churches.

Facciatone is entered via the 5th floor of the museum. Once in...you have to keep going. You will reach the height of the duomo via a small circular staircase. You can't turn around once you start. View from the top is to see the Tuscan countryside as well as most of the city of Siena. Spectacular.

You climb through a tight and steep steps but rewards with the excellent view. Place is usually crowded and waiting time was 40min.

This is the site to see for the best views in all of Siena. You have to climb some tight stairs, but you will be rewarded with the best views in all of Siena. You will be up on a wall that was to be part of the large expansion the city was planning for the cathedral, but when Siena... More

I bought the combined ticket including Siena Cathedral and this attraction was included. I have enjoyed an incredible view of Siena and its surroundings. Consider that you have to climb several stairs: this attraction is not for everybody!
