The Duomo of Gubbio commands awe with its tall, single nave vault and air of bare solemnity. Easy to picture in the mind a procession of monks singing polyphonic laudas.

A refreshingly simple early building with a beautiful and unadorned vaulted ceiling. Beautiful and worth visiting but a long walk up to the top of the hill, so make use of the free lift if you are feeling less energetic..

This cathedral is at one of the high points in Gubbio. Ask where the elevator is, and take it to the top so that you don't have to amble up the hillside. The interior is very dark, so dark that is difficult to take any...More

A beautiful church to visit. There is a life size statue featuring St Francis and the wolf to the right if the building. The story is that St Francis on one of his visits to the area met with locals who were error used by...More

Must see if you are in Gubbio. Via Ducale has lots of interesting stuff to see. Very unique and well preserved culturistic buildings.

The stark interior of the Doumo is home to some of the finest and best displayed C17th religious paintings by Umbrian artists. Take the free public elevator and visit a cathedral where you can enjoy the space without cost or crowds.

Beautiful church with some interesting art. The architecture is impressive though it's not one of the country's greatest treasures. There is an elevator to get you up several of the levels to the cathedral.

Interesting, huge church. It is not for the textbooks and best examples for art historians but it has it's own charm. You can walk from altar to altar, you can find your inner peace, God or simpy admire work of artists and artisans.

Very beautiful and nice place. We were lucky to see the flag-show, close to the Duomo. Nice choice of restaurants near-by and a very beautiful old town. Liked the garden of the Duomo- breathtaking view and good place to take pictures
