We were told of this fresco by Raphael by an English couple in the National Galleria di Perugia and we walked uphill quite a ways to see it, but it was totally worth it because it is Raphael practicing to do his fresco in Rome,...More

Tucked away down a quiet back street just a few minutes walk from Piazza IV Novembre is San Severo where you can see the frescoes which are Raphael's only confirmed work in Perugia. I arrived just after 5 and had the place to myself. It...More

I have to say, I expected more, especially since you have to pay to see it. It's really just a small room with a fresco from Raffaello, which isnt' even in the best shape it could be. The room is small and there's only one...More

Although small, this chapel is well-worth a look in order to see the only Raphael fresco left in Perugia. It is located a short distance from the Duomo and is often open.

This preserved chapel contains a rare fresco by Raphael. I did not enjoy it as much as other religious art to be seen here, partly because the fresco has suffered much through water and human damage.

A must see for history of art lovers! One of a kind historical monument that combines the talents of two of the most important genius of the 14th and 15th Century, Raffaello and Perugino.

Gorgeous cappella at piazza Raffaello, only one room, but it has a masterpiece that Perugino made with Raffaello.

I went to San Severo simply to see the Rafael fresco which was very nice to watch and behold in the same room. Though the room could get a bit crowded as there is only one entrance/exit.

The only reason to go here is to see this one fresco. It's included in the museum card and if you take the audio guide from the National Gallery, it has an 8 minute explanation on it regarding the fresco. But it says nearly the...More

Not what I expected at all but if you hit it at the right time, it can be just you and Raphael in the same intimate space. This is a one stop shop: just a small room with some chairs and the fresco and one...More
