We planned our whole day in Basel, so we could join the tour of Jewish basel - as planned and confirmed with you. We waited at the meeting point (in front of the theater) with 12 other people - and the guide never showed up!!!More

Dear Ditza, we apologize wholeheartedly for the inconvenience. Apparently there was a misunderstanding about the meeting point for the Jewish Tour, which is the Synagogue (Leimenstrasse 24, 4051 Basel) as advertised on our website (http://www.freewalk.ch/basel/jewish-tour-basel.php). Anouk provided clear information and was always happy to take questions. The tour followed the historical structures of Basel’s history with relevant explanation. Great way to spend our first morning in Basel, we were treated to wonderful weather as well!

Nina was a great tourguide. She knows everything about her city and obviously loves it. I definitely recommend doing it, so you can see the city's most beautiful spots.

Historical walking tour is just what it says. Our Guide, Anouk, was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, a good speaker with touches of humour to keep one interested in over 2,000 years of history. An enjoyable outing. Basel itself is hilly, so be aware of any limitations you...More
