Always a joy to watch young children enjoying the city. Random shooting water attract young children, teens and the unsuspecting tourist ....all right in front of the seat of government.

This was a fun place to run through the fountain, or not. As you walk through and behind the building, there are fantastic views down to the river and up to other spots. It was fun!

Federal building has good architecture. Building is usually open to public but the day we went it was a public holiday so we could not go in. There is a fountain just opposite the building where kids have a great time in summer. Swiss bank...More

Great building in the old town , water fountain outside , good to watch dogs / kids in it on a hot day . Walk through the arch and get great views of river and alps .

While walking around the city, it would be nice if you passed by their parliament and see the lovely fountain where the kids dance and play.

its no problem to go to courtyard for free. you have a Beautiful view over Bern. you can see the montains Eiger, Jungfrau und Mönch.
