Good spot for meandering through the various gardens plus a bang up view of the surrounding countryside. It's an uphill walk, steep for some, but you can take a tram or drive here, too. Nice place for a picnic.

Make sure to take the walk up the steep stone path to get there. Once there the view is fantastic with birds and butterflies all around.

The rose garden was both gorgeous to look at and wonderful to smell. Unlike most roses nowadays, these truly had a fantastic scent. And early in the morning it is so peaceful, it is almost like being in church. Good views, too.

Even without the roses the place offers a magnificent view over old town Bern. I would say go there :)
