This was a great photo opportunity. When I got there, it was already closed, so I wasn't able to get in. But even standing outside was a momentous feeling!

Tram number 15 , 'NATIONS', we got on outside the main Rail Station in city centre, takes you straight there. At the terminus walk past the huge blue chair and cross the road to the main gate. That is where you can NOT GET IN!...More

When we visited the grounds were not open. However, its definitely one of those places you have to visit to tick off your 'bucket list'.

Unfortunately we came here on a Sunday and it was closed. So make sure you plan in advance so you attend on a day where the visitors' centre is open.

We had a great tour here from a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. The buildings are very interesting as it what is going on inside them. The process for getting in is a bit of a pain and not very clear but it's worth it.

Chairman of my local UN Association branch, I though I knew quite a lot already from UN visits in London, New York, Montreal, Vienna and Paris, but the guided tour opened my eyes, especially to the relationship between the League of Nations and the UN.

Do not miss it. The great chair is inspiring, although I did not get the meaning. Still it stands up for unity
