Just a simple water fountain jet out in Lac Léman...the backdrop of the Alps is far more impressive. Take a photo and find more attractions in Geneva. At leadt it's free in this über expensive city.

Honestly said the Jet d'Eau ist not a must see! It's nice but not mind-blowing - you can see similar Jets in other cities as well. However, it's easy to reach, from the main train station it's only about 15 minutes by foot. It's lovely to walk on the lakeside.

The fountain is the feature of lake Geneva in mont blanc end.. it usually gets operational in the evenings.. the cool breeze, wind and busy street behind it gives a mesmerising views in the night!

The Jet d' Eau is a Geneva landmark. Great to cool off under the spray on a hot day. Lovely to view from near or far. Take a water taxi across the lake for a nominal fee.

Nice but not also also an impressive thing! Nice to take the public transport boat from there back to the other side of the lake

You have to take in the view of this iconic water jet. It's visible from many fronts, and seems it's accessible from Quai Gustave Ador side, albeit you would very likely get wet.

Turned out to be a beautiful day we visited the jet just a hop on the boat from near the hotel. Was impressive and fun, walked up close got sprayed but we were warned! Kids loved it and so did I. Had an ice cream and sat on the pier looking at the lake
