Do it when it's free

Free on the first Sunday of the month - It's not mind blowing, but a good destination on a rainy day

This was pretentious rubbish, partly because of the nonsense written by the artists, partly because it just doesn't work. You can take a heating unit off a wall, put it on the floor and say you are "breaking" my ideas of "reality", but I don't agree. They looked like real heating units to me. Nor did the three people with... More

Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art is a beautiful and huge place, the problem is the paintings and pieces of Art that you will find inside. Awful. I visited a lot of museums in my life and this museum did not leave me anything. The first floor is terrible, the second is a little bit better and the "flat of... More

This museum is linked to the Photography Museum and shows cutting edge contemporary art. The space is vast and industrial looking. There's no coffee shop inside, but there are bistros on the same street nearby. Highly recommended.

To be honest I have to admit I'm not a big fan of art museums but I can definitely enjoy a good one when I see one. This one isn't. The exhibitions are usually pretty lame and in the end there isn't much to see.

We have absolutely enjoyed the modern art at the Tate in London. Well, this is NOT London! This is the most depressing art exhibit in the most depressing building with some of the most pompous staff I have ever encountered. Art can be dark, but it can also be fun and light. This is a seriously unbalanced exhibit. I don't... More

Whether you like or not the exhibits, do not miss this amazing museum on 4 large floors. You can easily spend 1 to 2 hours there. Papers explaining the works and the artists in both French AND English can be taken at the entrance of all parts of the exhibitions. Entrance fee is cheap for all what you can see... More

The space is fascinating as it used to be a former industrial unit. Some of the installations sit beautifully with this architecture. The art here is well curated and presented. You have to journey through every room to see everything that's on offer. The pieces are eclectic, thought provoking and intelligently displayed. The staff are well informed and the free... More
