this out of the way museum is a nice touch the cost to get in is free which is great. it takes around 45 mins to see all floors and exhibits. not all exhibits have an English translation which can be annoying but still good to see interesting scientific equipment. the great thing of this museum is that some of... This is an excellent small museum located in a park next to LAke Geneva. The museum showcases the Swiss penchant for exact measurement and is full of all sorts of beautiful brass instruments for use in geometric calculations, as well as telescopes etc. There are also a number of exhibits set up where you can participate. This is a great... More

The building looks great and the exhibits interesting. The light in particular within the high ceiling rooms and illuminating the exhibits looked entrancing. However, the staff were so rude to me that I would never wish to return.

Musee d' Histoire des Sciences is a great museum for science lovers insofar you can read and discover a lot of info about new and old technologies. The building of the museum is a beautiful old building where you can join an amazing view of the lake.

The title says it all. I was much more in awe with the interior design of the building itself rather than the museum collections. The wallpapers of every room was different and pretty, while the permanent collections of the museum were displayed in such dull way. Visitors can only read the information. On the other hand, the temporary exhibition was... More

Luckily this place is free for public. Two small floors full of mostly dull facts and lots of instruments. The visitors can only watch and read - they do not get to do or touch much. I have been to much more interesting museums of this kind and was disappointed.

Much smaller than we anticipated. Just about 10 smallish rooms of microscopes, telescopes, globes etc. My fav was Voltare's original battery. Amazing location in botanic gardens with spectacular views of Mont Blanc

This free museum was a little different and had something to offer different kinds of people. The museum did not shy away from the science behind the objects displayed, nor their history. The objects were pretty as were the rooms they were displayed in. The building itself had it's own story to tell. The staff were very friendly and helpful... More
