history has such wonderful stories to tell, good bad and indifferent. this Lion story is historical and amusing. a must see and hear about the Lion. I won't give this away but you have to see it. with a guide for the story.

The place is very small and the small water body next to it is also very small and not clean. We spent max 5 minutes there

A very beautiful carving in the rock & expressions are so real that it actually appears like dying. History that it speaks of is respectable. One thing that I would say, do not miss in Lucerne

I can sit there for hours just to adore this piece of art. The artist has carved the pain in the eyes of the lion that it's so hard to get away without being impacted. I am in love with it. I have not seen...More

Do not understand the hype about this. Walked quite far to get there and it took us all of 5 minutes to see and appreciate it. In a city where most things are very expensive this was free at least.

A must see! We went back to Lucerne to make sure we saw him! So glad we did, he is just glorious! The one thing to put on a todo list if going to the Lucerne list for sure.

I was shocked when we went here, the monument was crowded with lots of tourist groups! Unless you're very keen on seeing a stone lion, I think you can skip this one...

It is a place that calls for contemplation with a small lake and nice shade from high trees. And than you see teenagers with alkohol a side making noise and traing to look adult. We were shocked that on a place like this and monument...More

The memorial is outside in a public garden so it is open throughout, and free.
