After taking a boat tour of the lake I went to see this monumental sculpture it’s beautiful and sad, everyone here was quiet and reflective it feels like going to church very solemn but so very beautiful

It’s almost impossible not to feel a flood of emotions looking at the dying lion and what it stands for . It’s absolutely Beautiful though and a must visit !

I’ve been to this monument a few times and it’s always amazing. Some renovations were occurring so part of the view was obstructed depending on where you were standing. We were there early but it can become crowded with tour groups later in the day....More

This monument on the edge of town is worth a quick stop. I wouldn't say it's a must see but if you're wandering around that part of Lucerne go have a look.

You go up to the Rathausplatz, than turn right to the Weggisgasse. Go right along this street. Go straight on to the Hertensteinstrasse to the Löwenplatz. Cross this place and go short left, 30 sec.
