Very spectacular, particularly when coming out in Aosta on the italian side. Bit expensive but definitely the way up and down is beautiful.

Driving from southern Italy up through Valle d'Aosta to the Mont Blanc Tunnel the experience is simply stunning. The views and country side are breathtaking. Arriving at the tunnel we found there to be a very long queue only due to volume of traffic. Although it took us over an hour to get through to the tunnel entrance there was... More

We arrived to Four Seasons hotel Geneva and found we had a pre-arranged helicopter ride up around Mont Blanc and had to leave immediately to Geneva Airport to the helicopter field to meet my partner’s family. Once we checked in we went to the little cafe inside the airport and could see a sea of private jets parked which was... More

We stayed in Chamonix, a very beautiful and peaceful town. Went to Mount Blanc next day by cable car. This is the highest peak of Europe. View was stunning.

We took a tour from Geneva arranged by key tours . Excellent guide in English well informed and managed.. We got to the chemo is village with a reasonable picturistique drive from Geneva. A breathtaking view of mount blac along with the adjacent alps that they fondly call it the needle mountain due to its shape and the mountain of... More

Went through the tunnel on our way into Italy as a short cut. Quite pricey but definitely worth it for the spectacular views. I understand that at peak season times the delays can be horrendous - a friend of ours had to queue for two hours in August. However, in mid September we went straight through. Worth a stop on... Came across Mont Blanc while on the way to Geneva from Rome, by road. Large mountain range with most of them snow cladded. There is italian side and swiss side for the range. The road tunnel has speed limit of 70; with vehicle to vehicle minimum distance to be maintained. Cameras are in place for the same. At end of... More

The view from the top is breathtaking and well worth seeing, however getting there is not so good an experience. The cable car tariff is expensive, the cable cars take 72 people and they get 72 people in which means you are crammed together. If you are unfortunate to be in the middle you have no view in transit. The... More

A must do if you're every in Chamonix. A little pricey, although worth the experience. When we on the ground the temprature was roughly 23 degrees, at the top -5 and snow covered, obviously. Dress warmly!

The whole experience of arriving to the charming city of Chamonix, seeing from far the amazing Mont Blanc and finally getting a chance to get on a lift and go up almost 4000 meters is simply amazing! The lift and structure that the city has prepared for all the visitors to experience this incredible trip is really great... Very worth... More
