Easy trip by train and gondola from San Moritz Good restaurant at the top--choose the service option for better food and preferred seating. The views are nothing less than spectacular. Snow in July, too! You won't want to miss this one.

We took this trip using the St Moritz card supplied by our hotel as part of a package. The Train journey to the base station is not the most spectacular part of the Bernina Express but any Swiss railway journey is a pleasure. Fortunately the...More

At 35 Francs (May 2017) each, its an expensive trip up to the top for the chance of views and the opportunity to walk around on snow

Sitting up here at 3000 meters on a glorious sunny day - just had a traditional lunch of schnitzel and beer - looking at the peaks around us. We thought we were just in for another gondola ride - but we're amazed to find a...More

Great pistes, excellent quality of snow, sky high, for intermediate to expert skiers. Accessible by bus (approx. 30 min) from St. Moritz Dorf.

I would assume the cable car is open in Dec since people do ski there but not 100% sure. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Enjoy the view.

Berghaus Diavolezza if I recall accurately. They do serve yourself and there is a separate a la carte section which was a touch on the expensive side but worth it. The Rosti was very good. If you get the chance you are not... More
