We have been a morning with some friends for a walk. It is not far away from st Moritz and we enjoyed the lake walk before getting up there. The lake is very nice with some people swimming and having barbecue

Lake of Staz ( Lez de Staz) St. Moritz has beautiful aquamarine jewel colours in an ice cold lake in the Alps.

Lake of Staz is very easy to reach. starting from St. Moritz Lake it will take 40 min of walk to get to that lovely little lake. You also can start your excursion from Celerina in about the same time. its not deep an ideal...More

A Polo tournament was held on the frozen lake, it is held each year, provided the thickness of the ice is sufficient. Cross country skiing, dog sledding and snow golf is also played on the lake. Very interesting place to visit.

Lej da Staz is an extremely easy to reach little lake placed between St. Moritz and Celerina. its rather small size and relatively limited depth makes it the ideal place for a swim in this incredible surroundings. Young children start to get in the water...More

A, generally flat walk around the lake with lovely views which takes a couple of hours at an easy pace. We always do this walk when we stay in the town.
