Walk on the promenade - it is spectacular. If you tire of the beautiful lake, there are many opportunities to stop in a nearby restaurant or shop......but the lake is stunning and a walkers paradise.

A peaceful place where you can spend a weekend with your family or friends. It is very relaxing to walk around the lake, have glass of wine and just enjoy the view. Don't expect it to be cheap!

Loved our stay in Lugano; walked the promenade along the lakeside several times. The mountains in the distance make this such an enchanting town.

I don’t know about the day pass for vehicle as I travelled from Zurich by train. Lugano centre is beautiful when walking around the little roads and the lake side is magnificent. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
