The moaște beautifully place for skiing. You need to be here at least once in a life time. The prices are very high but it worth every cent spent. The slopes are in perfect conditions. I've been there 2 times and still thinking in going again. On the second stay we find an apartment with 2 rooms and we rented... More

Hiking through the Swiss Alps was definitely an experience. Signage was hard to find but maybe for the ultimate experienced hiker, not so much. The scenery was breath-taking, our photography was lacking due to cloud coverage, but we made the best of it and rode the Swiss rail up into the mountains each of the 9 days we were there... More

Very spectacular high alpine ski area with mostly excellent snow conditions due to high altitude (up to 3883 m above sea level), very long and wonderfully prepared, rather easy slopes, perfect service, very good mountain restaurants, much fun for every taste.

Traveling by cable cars up to the Glacier paradise is an excellent adventure. This was our second visit and we enjoyed it again. This time we also visited the inside of the glacier paradise to see the ice sculptures and displays. Be sure to sit on the ice throne and slide down the slide. It's not inexpensive but this isn't... Highest accessible peak without having to climb! At 100 Swiss Francs it's not a cheap day out, but no more costly than Mont Blanc or Jungfraujoch. If you get a clear day the views down south over Italy are absolutely stunning.

Before visiting I feel like I was confused about what this was so I will attempt to explain. The Matterhorn Glacier Paradise is a viewing platform and Glacier Park above the skiing glacier at the top of the Klein (little) Matterhorn. You take 3 lifts/gondolas from Zermatt to the top. This is a MUST-SEE and the views of the Matterhorn... More

It took some time to get up to as there is 1 gondola that also takes skiers to the Italian side of the ski fields.. our lunch was very expensive and really quite underwhelming .. would I recommend possible not. I not sure if I had missed the experience I would be disappointed.. maybe pop up for a beverage but... More

My main activity in Zermatt (I don't ski) was going up to Glacier Paradise. It isn't cheap (100 CHF) but an amazing trip with incredible views from the top. Great experience.

This requires a small gondola ride followed by a large gondola to the peak at 3900 metres. Wonderful views. The Ice Palace was interesting but could be improved. The queue for the large gondola was 40 mins which was disappointing. Overall, a good day out.

We love off-piste but had a great Christmas and New Years here skiing the fun park! Hard to believe how well they groom it. There has been no snow for 7weeks yet we skied and snowboarded here for 7 days happily.
