Overall, the museum makes an effort to make it entertaining for adults and kids, but there's some room for improvement, like more fun games for kids. View from the restaurant on the top floor is amazing.

Charged 12CHF to bring disabled person to visit this museum. An appalling unethical approach from an organisation that supposedly prides itself for its ethical efforts. Disgrace

The entrance to the building is very impressive with a beautiful waterfall and lots of bronze statues The museum is well laid out and there are 3 areas to visit If you really know about the Olympics you will enjoy it more I found the history most interesting

We went many years ago, but it has had a major revamp since then. Very engaging and interactive with plenty of quirky things on show, such as Eric the Eels trunks. I found the overt display of spending a bit uncomfortable but there is no doubting i enjoyed my visit. The only thing i wasn't keen on was the cafe.... More

I am writing this on the day that the RIO 2016 Games open - I wish that every Olympian or would-be Olympian would visit this Museum. In the home of the IOC, this facility is surely the most significant attraction in Lausanne. Less than 30min by rail from Geneva, it rewards the effort to visit. Timelines, historic and modern videos,... More

We did not have time to visit Museum by itself, but we spent good time in Olympic garden. Nice, clean, huge garden with a lot of statues and figures of athletes, posters and photos. Beautiful view over lake Geneva from this point. We had a chance to go inside the lobby of museum and it did not impressed us. Looks... More

This is a must see when you visit Lausanne and it's a magnificent place overseeing the lake. There are lots of statues outside the museum and you can also see a lot of history inside it. A must see especially when you have a child with you.

Stunning museum with historical overview of the Olympics history - lots of memorablia, pictures, video's etc ... situated in front of Leman-lake, absolutely worth a visit whenever in Lausanne or in the neighbourhood (and great alternative on a rainy day).

Very modern, interactive museum with plenty to do, see, read, listen to, touch and experience. It is an informative museum that my children enjoyed because there were so many ways for them to learn. They were not bored even one minute of the 3+ hours we spent there! The gardens going in are interesting as well and there is a... More

The modern technology and design serves well this museum. The temp expo on Rio just 6 days before the game was a bonus. We enjoyed the biathlon game and only regret there were not more such game.
