Lovely walk

It's a lovely walk. Flowers were in bloom. Gorgeous views of the snow capped mountains. Just a beautiful area.

On a nice day this is a pretty and scenic walk. Why would you not take a few minutes of tranquility no matter how little time you had. Or a lot longer if you have it. Lots of jazz and other music sculptures along the way too.

It is a beautiful walk whichever direction you go. You can return via bus or boat if you walk too far. There are many cafes and restaurants where you can stop for lunch or tea. On a clear day, which is common during summer, you can witness the entire stretch of the marvellous Alps from Italy to France, and experience... More

Everything is blue. The lake "Le Léman" it's fantastic and you see the sky also blue, and the mountains so hight with snow on the top... All the colourful flowers and ducks on the water. I really love it.

I visited Montreux in May and the promenade was spectacular. Its a huge stretch along the lake and the walk is brilliant. Flowers and plants of all kinds are found through the entire stretch and it was a sight to behold. A walk along the promenade in the evening is a must do in this town. Recommended.

The lakesde promenade at late afternoon for sunset is a perfect way to end the day. There are many fine restaurants for dinner or a drink and views of snow capped mountains with Sun shimmering on the water. The flowers along the walk frame the scene for many photos.Stop at Freedy Mercury statute and visit the Casino along the way.

The promenade extends several miles, and can be crowded at times and at some points - especially at weekends and around central Montreux. The early morning and mid-evening can be the best times to enjoy it. Be aware (and beware!) that it is also a cycle path! Possibly it is at its best in April - early May. When we... More

Stopped here to walk by the lake. Perfect for a spring day when all the flowers are in bloom. Walked down to the Freddy Mercury statue. One block up for the lake, is a small park featuring many of the famous American blues singers and musicians.

It is paradise! I was here in May, when everything was green, flowering. It is kind of treatment you get while looking at landscapes there: lake, gardens, while alps over the lake... It is unbelievable reality.
