In the same building as the Art Museum, this is essential if you have kids. Anyway it is delightful and full of surprises. Probably the best Natural History museum we have ever visited, and downstairs there is a geological display and a facsimile of being...More

We visited the museum with a 4 years old boy on a snowy day. It’s a rather small museum, but full of interactive activities that were lots of fun and educating for both adults and kids. My son actually wanted to return the next morning....More

The museum is mostly suitable for children who can use all their senses- they can smell and identify spices, play a 'birds' piano, create animals masks and many other fascinating and enriching activities. Crowded on weekends. A must for families with kids visiting Winterthur

Must do this with kids. In the cellar there is a room that simulates the movements of a vintage commercial sailing ship and shows products that where imported. The exposition is somewhat eclectic in parts but it sure is worth a visit.
