Bahnhofstrasse is the central most part of the city. All tours and major networks operate from here and is located right outside Zurich HB or main station. Hop on a tour here or the green line on the tram to further sightsee the city on...More

The bahnhofstrasse (central train station road) starts outside the southern end of the train station. Walk the entire street, or hop on one of the blue trams heading south, and which stop at the Paradeplatz. Regardless of how you see the street, it oozes wealth....More

This is a nice street for shopping, sightseeing, and people watching. I had a layover at the train station and walked down to the financial district. An easy walk and a nice slice of Zurich.

Bahnhofstraße is full with expensive shops, for normal citizens it is almost impossible to shop here. One of the most expensive stretches of Switzerland, it is not interesting at all unless you want to buy big brand stuff. Easy to access, since it starts at...More

We were told that everything we need could be found on this shopping street. In reality, it is a high street typical of many big cities. Chain stores and franchises occupy the majority of shops. Many of the designer shops had expensive displays but no...More

I would suggest the Leoneck Swiss Hotel, offers a great price/location/quality deal. Is very close to the Limmat and to the Hauptbahnhof meaning a walking distance of 5 to 25 minutes to almost all the attractions.
