It's like the Champs-Élysées of Zurich or the Madison Avenue of New York. Long shopping street containing the most upscale stores retail has to offer. Highly recommend even if you just like to window shop.

I like to shop, but this street mainly consists of the luxury end of the clothing market (dior, fendi, tods etc) and jewellery (cartier etc) ... you could be anywhere in the world, so unless you are desperate for a new handbag just enjoy the window shopping

Fancy shopping area in the heart of Zurich. You'll find mostly international high brand shops, like Chanel, Burberry, Gucci...

If you are wandering around Zurich, you must visit the Banhofstrasse which is located almost in the heart of the city. The street if full of shops, mainly selling expensive items. You can spend hours walking around the streeet. Shops are elegant, there are constantly many people around and the noise is not that high as it would have been... More

During our Christmas vacation This was a great place to walk and view a number of excellent watch shops and other specialty retailers. You will not find any bargains though, and coming from the US buy your fine watch in the states, where you'll find better deals. Do not be tempted to buy swiss watch here.Decoration with lights , trees... More

All the expensive branches of watches and clothes across this street.. It can take hours to walk watching the windows of the shops... But Zurich is one of the most expensive cities in whole Europe... Make sure u have a lot of money with u or many bank cards... Good shopping therapy..

I am a Zurich lover through and through, but in the last decade this street has changed to the worse. It has all the shops you see on any high street anywhere in the world and the most expensive. The real Zurich starts in the back ally ways and is not what a lot of tourists see unfortunatly. I wish... More
