We spent half of the day shopping there the sidewalks are considerably wide and the variety of shops is great you can find high end jewelry shops and brands and the ordinary shops like h&m, zara... etc Very fun and lively area

I would suggest the Leoneck Swiss Hotel, offers a great price/location/quality deal. Is very close to the Limmat and to the Hauptbahnhof meaning a walking distance of 5 to 25 minutes to almost all the attractions.
