This is one of the three main churches in the Old Town area of Zürich. It is interesting to explore inside and holds a beautiful, fully operational organ. The main draw for most visitors will be the observation deck on one of the towers. If...More

I could not get inside. Times are not displayed. I had to be content with the outside. A bit disappointing to be right there.Massive and dominates the skyline from the lake. Remember to cross the river before you get to it or you have to...More

This church is interesting and the two towers can be seen from just about all parts of the city. It is worth the climb of 13 flights to see the 360 view of the city. Recomend it as a must see.

The 13th century Grossmunster Cathedral makes for a quick visit of this red sandstone church with stained glass and other interesting visuals.

This church is worth a short visit, they allow you to tour it for free. I enjoyed the stained "glass" windows, which are rather unusual and made of rock instead of regular glass. No photos allowed inside the church, so I can't post any here,...More

If you are accustom to visiting large Catholic cathedrals, you will be disappointed with the "reformed" cathedrals in Zurich. They are dull and uninspiring.

Very beautiful windows and magnificent organ in the gallery. This is a rather austere worship space, typical of much of the reformed churches where historically ornamentation has been stripped. But it makes it a deeper experience of connection with God because nothing gets in the...More

We did not do a tour. We walked around ourselves including walking up to top for great views of Zurich. How long it will take to walk up to the top of one of the lookouts depends on how many people are there a5 the same time.
