Easy climb up a narrow staircase and not too high - and i am terrified of heights. Only issue is same way up and down so always having to stop to let people pass. Great view form the top. Cathedral is beautiful

We did not do a tour. We walked around ourselves including walking up to top for great views of Zurich. How long it will take to walk up to the top of one of the lookouts depends on how many people are there a5 the same time.
