I was there at the "open day" to find myself in a large garden, no real information and no real appeal. The garden is apparently build to give biologists a nice time, but for people that like nature and the outdoors, you better go in...More

A pleasant place to walk around. Probably nothing really unique. The perennial beds are a bit of a mish-mash but that seems to be the "new" style. Has a cafeteria with a salad bar. Greenhouses are standard plant habitats (the same design company must be...More

Best on a sunny day, but even in the wet you can enjoy the bio-domes. Plenty of space to walk and sit and of course lots of plants and trees. For a leafy longer walk: Head up Weineggstrasse and Buchenweg to the Tram Museum and...More

It's really worth to visit the garden, even in fall. It's huge with 3 greenhouses and beautiful plants.

We took the tram and then walked quite a way to find this spot - it was marked on our tourist map and we love gardens of all sorts. It was a bit of a hike up through the entrance. The flower gardens were unkempt,...More

We are both keen gardeners and nature lovers so decided to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city to visit the Botanical Garden. It was easy to find and we walked there from our hotel on Seefeldstrasse. What a welcome surprise!...More

One can spend hours at this botanical garden, so much flora and fauna to see. Also it is very relaxing just to walk around

Cross this botanical garden off your list of to-do's while in Zurich. It's out of the way and not worth the time. I love nature and flowers but somehow this garden missed its mark.

A very beautiful garden, quite small but full of different scenic corners. don't miss the green houses, and especially the tropical one! It is open for free, and makes a lovely place to wonder about in nice weather. Highly recommended!
