instead of sunday buffet, i opted for house salad with beef Tartar and close it with egg clair. The meal was light, fresh and well paired with rose for sunday morning.

Come for the chocolate and petit desserts and a good dose of tradition and history. The macarons here are legendary. Take an outside table and people watch on the Bahnhofstrasse.

Wow this place! So cute and so Swiss. I bought the obligatory ‘Luxembergli’ box - size 1 / 18.50 chf . They were delicious! I would have loved to sit in and have a glass of something sparkling, but it was too busy. Upstairs was...More

Food was ok, a bit pricey though with such quality; the service was terrible! Doesn’t match their branding, environment or ambience! Won’t come again!

A lovely informal café / restaurant in the centre of Zurich, about half way down Bahnhofstrasse between Hauptbahnhof station and the lake. Downstairs is an informal café bar, cake and chocolate shop - well worth a browse and a purchase! Upstairs is the café proper...More

This is a local institution, and as such it does get extremely busy towards the week end and in the afternoon. The cakes are great, however it is expensive and the place does get very crowded, don't be surprised, Zurich is a very expensive city!

...some cakes and obviously...a huge pack of Luxemburgerli to bring home...this Swiss institution is really a must wether you happen to be nearby the main train station or not.

We bought chocolate from two places in Lucerne, and this was one of them. It was fine; nothing wrong with the chocolate. We just felt it wasn't as special as some of the other offerings.
