Undergoing external renovations at the moment making it a little difficult to find the entrance, it is worth persevering as it has a manageable sized collection of Italian, Dutch and Swiss art as well as some of the impressionists. Quite a few Chagall as well...More

I'm not sure I'd call this a museum. Not a lot of art, the layout was confusing, and we kept getting conflicting information about pricing for exhibits.

This venue is home to a great selection of galleries at two museums, a dream come true for any contemporary art lover. Groundbreaking shows and cool bookshops complete the picture. I enjoyed it a lot and wish there were more places like this around Europe.

Although it is not much trouble to reach the Kunsthalle, by tram from the center of the city, for us it was a very disappointing experience. In a very big building the entrance of the Kunsthalle is hardly indicated, you can reach it by a...More

Appart from the fact that it is very expensive (12 chf) for such a small museum (2 rooms with 5 artwork each). We had the joy to look at 3 photos of electric plug, some carpets and a coat-hanger. For the next visitors, focus rather...More

I suppose it depends on what the current exhibitions are, but what I saw was worthless. The private galleries in the same building had some interesting stuff, though.
