Two things to do on Lake Zurich- ride a ferry or swim and sunbathe in the lake. Or just walk along the lake and enjoy the view.

We took both the sunset cruise and also the day cruise to see the different views of Lake Zurich. It was a memorable experience and we really enjoyed it.

We took a nice little boat ride around the lake and it was beautiful!!!! What a neat way to see the city and surrounding areas!!!! WE also had a little champagne as an added bonus.

I do agree with the answer of the other contributor, actually on the lake there are rather villages than towns, and if you have limited time then better to have a look from the boat and spend more time to visit the old town... More

There is nothing cheap in Zurich though if u want soveniers etc go to train station market in bahofstrasse about 500 metre walk and at level 1 u will find chocolate shops and sovenior shops and clothes , watches sent cheaper... More
