Go for a dip in Lake Zurich from this gorgeous old wooden structure built int the 1880's.

Just along the Seefeld area of the lake you will find this great little spot for lunch and a swim, in the summer. They serve a good snack and sometimes even have live music in the evenings.

Right downtown, this place provides everything you could want to enjoy a day swimming in lake Zurich. They have lockers (bring a lock or a 2fr coin), places to lounge, floating rafts to swim to, showers, and changing rooms. If it's sunny/warm, this is the best way to spend time in Zurich.

Having witnessed crazy people jumping into the river without lifeguards etc we decided to go to Seebad as it felt a sensible option. There is an option of women only and men only bathing but also a mixed centre. Plenty of area to sunbathe, lots of refreshments on offer. The rafts to swim to and relax on were also very... More

Nothing is like getting a swim in clear cold water of Zurich Sea in tiresome touristing day in Zurich. Old wooden construction reminds you of the past time, it is marvelous. There are also platforms in the water where you can warm yourself or just enjoy time surrounded by water and Zurich shores.

Open from 7 in the morning until 8 at night, this is a great place to go if you want to have a good swim. As there is no beach it tends to be more adults It is one of a few pools in Zurich which open in all weather or almost. I think it is only if there is... More

Seebad Utoquai is a very old wood construction, that was even once proposed to be demolished, but luckily still stands. It is very centrally located, so after work people rush here to swimm in the lake. A kiosk sells drinks and food, quite fine salads, soup and snacks.

Nice place in a centra location for a swim. Well, that is except for the swans with which you have to share the lake. Water which normally is crystal clear gets muddled up and is brown and perhaps not all that attractive. Still, nice to cool of here on a hot summers day. And you can always take a shower... More

It was boiling hot in Zurich and some refreshment was needed. When googling, I found this so-called Seebd, something which is common in a number of other Swiss cities. Not knowing what exactly to expect, I brought my hotel towel to this easy to reach place. Take team 2 or 4 from the Central Station and get off at Kreuzstrasse.... More
