This was my first visit and I joined the morning tour of the gardens. This was a good move as the guide was excellent bringing warmth and humour to a stunning location.

Really enjoyed my visit here. The glass houses are stunning. Also really enjoyed the lily ponds and other lakes. Wish I'd had some fish food, huge carp!! My one complaint is that it's hard to follow the map to see the things you are interested in. They could really do with more sign posts, or even arrows on the floor... More

I am currently on maternity leave so decided to buy a year pass for Wisley. Money really well spent as I can take another adult in with me and children too. It is so beautiful to see how the gardens are changing through the seasons and cannot wait till my little one is walking as so many fun activities for... More

Visited here with friend on a Sunday. Easy to find off A3 not far from Jct 10 of the M25 Car Parks were quite full as expected (it was a bright sunny day) and I was aware of some major building work going on from the website Had a walk around the gardens and tropical greenhouses and also visited the... It's maybe 35 years since our last visit and it's even more impressive than what we could remember. There are so many "gardens" to look at you need a few visits to appreciate everything. The vegetable patches and orchards were just coming into "bloom" and the large rockery was particularly impressive. The glass house with tropical plants and cacti garden... More

A lot of changes are taking place at Wisley at the moment and many flower beds were empty. Alas also the weather has not helped and at present it is not as it should be at springtime . The rhododendrons and Azalea area is good and full of flowers though.

As the weather was glorious many, many visitors thought of going when we did. It didn't start well when a useless car park attendant happily let a long stream of cars drive painfully through a full car park when he could have done his job and guided us to the next empty one. The gardens which we were allowed to... More

I have visited here many times from the 1970s to date. It is one of the most amazing gardens in the world and I get there at least once per season to take note of the changes. The plant trial areas and the ever changing projects that take place keep it interesting for regular visitors like myself. It is wonderful... More

Wisely is beautiful at any time of the year and is a wonderful place to go for a walk. There are both formal and wilder gardens and an extensive orchard and pinetum, as well as periodic crafts festivals and the like. A few decent cafés give good quality lunch options, albeit limited choice. The only downside is that it is... More
