The church and graveyatd are well worth a visit. The church is tranquil and gives z lot of history of the area and context to it's role within the community. The additional parking and honesty box are an added gesture. It is easy to access the downs, headland and beach from here.

St Mary's is a typical 12th Century Church, built like a castle to defend off unwanted visitors, it has a great graveyard, a lovely early Font, some nice 20th Century Glass, other than that very samely.

It's only a small churchyard but still in use today, a solid stone built church with Sunday services. Ideal parking spot on church land adjacent to the church and well worth the money to park there if you are not going along to see Worms Head

Went on a Saturday morning met a loverly old man who was very helpful and friendly there's a money box so if you have any loose change. just to keep the up keep of the church some of the grave stone's go back over 200 yrs old you can still read the head stones Interesting 🤔

Walking the interior the visitor gets the sense that something isn't quite right. The answer is shown in a photographic display of the history of the church which shows it almost bombed flat in WW2. The restoration is a remarkable job, in the circumstances.
