Our Guide George was amazing. He told us interesting stories and history about this man mad cave. The best part of the tour was experiencing complete darkness. Worth visiting if you are in the area

Well worth a visit. The history is fascinating. Massive inside so no problems with access or claustrophobia. Combined with a tour of the fort it is a great way of spending a few hours. The view from the cafe over the city is great.

The website has three options (plus a combined tour) - the North Caves, Zonneberg Caves and Casemates. Which would you recommend? Is the fact that we're using public transport from Maastricht city center a factor in deciding?
