Fantastic surprise in range and quantity of art, information and exhibits in well presented spaces. Really enjoyable layout of the museum with easy navigation and movement among sections. There is also creative use of plywood architecture throughout the building, especially in the souvenir shop.

It is the sheer size of 'big sister' Noordbrabants Museum, that makes this score average. The collection of the big sister is bigger and better. But when you are here, take some winding stairs (a piece of art in itself) to SM1 and SM2 (SM is short for Stedelijk Museum, nothing else). It is a bit strange that the building... More

Though the service employees were excellent and helpful, the architekture inside is beautiful, exposition itself is quite ok but not more than that. Seen better ones.

Remarkable exposition of a genius. Especially the drawings are worthwhile. As of May 30th you have to travel to the Prado to see for youself.

I really enjoyed the video installation The Fish Pond. I nearly did not go in as I am not keen on video but I found it quite wonderful and thought provoking.

I went to the Stedelijk Museum to see the Jheronimous Bosch 500 exhibition, which is a temporary exhibition. The premises of the museum itself are nice and modern. This particular exhibition was very interesting, with some unseen works of Bosch that belong to private collections. The only issue was the quantity of people attending at the same time, in my... It would be shame to miss this small gem while in Den Bosch. We recently came here for the second time, and enjoyed both the regular collection and the temporary design exhibition -- the latter introduced by an informative video. The wooden panelling of the reception, the cloakroom and the museum shop, are worth seeing in itself. Jointly with the... More
