You can't miss this one, so centrally located. If I am not wrong it's the main cathedral of the city center. Architecturally it is impressive! Made under the plans of a famous Dutch archetict (sorry can't recall it's name), responsible also for the beautiful central train station of Amsterdam. Inside of the cathedral, in its frond side, there's a small... More

So central and wonderful to have something so old and peaceful right bang in the bustle of the market square. Visited a few times just for the peace. Beautiful place to sit and rest for a few minutes.

Architectural masterpiece. The best is to see it during GLOW - every autumn. In front of the building you can look through the glass floor straight into catacombs. Try to get inside.

I e-mailed in advance of my visit to enquire about mass times and received a prompt reply with all the details of services in all languages. This is a beautiful old-fashioned church, highly recommended whatever your persuasion.

There are open hours when you can freely visit the cathedral. At 12PM you can hear the bells which were enchanting. Inside you cand admire the gothic architecture and stained glasses.

Beautiful old church with the typical high roof and lead light Windows. Nice place to spend some quiet time. Historic archeological remains on display of bones and skulls Doug up from the graves that lay beneath the current church. The current church was rebuilt after a fire back in 1400 and was extended over a graveyard. Out the front the... More

Impressive and historic building in the centre of Eindhoven, built by the architect Pierre Cuijpers who was also responsible for the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam and the Central Station Amsterdam. In the front (glass floor outside) and inside there are also little exhibitions about a part of the history of the city Eindhoven

Catharina church offers citizens as well as tourists a moment of silence and reflection. Collection of historic items are shown during an ongoing exhibition. Regular Catholic masses on Sunday and during the week. Often is someone playing the famous organ. Classic music concerts by so called "Muziek in de Cathrien" on Saturday afternoon.
