Always lots of people here - day and night. The square is surrounded by restaurants and cafes. On warm days people will sit all over the square. Fantastic old houses to see around the square everywhere.

If you stay near here and drink on the square it's very expensive. Do yourself a favour and go across the square into the side streets and eat and drink for a fraction the price. It's busy and in winter there is a skating rink...More

For me, if you stay near Leidseplein you are in a perfect place. You are in a few minutes walking to Vondelpark, to many other attractions and there´s a good night life around.

The taxi fare is about Euro 50. We usually take one from the taxi stand just outside the ariport...but we've also reserved taxis online. You can see the reviews on TripAdvisor.
