A quiet pretty neighborhood, where you can have a stroll, have a drink, read a book and relax in. It's very close to Amsterdams busy area but is much quieter. We used Rick Steves app for a tour around. Very enjoyable.

The Jordaan is Amsterdam and If you had only one choice of places to go then this is it! It is atmospheric with wonderful cafe's, bars and excellent shops surrounded by wonderful architecture.
Jordaan is a must if you visit Amsterdam. Lots of good boutique and trendy shops here. Cafes and restaurants are countless good
Great are with interesting galleries. Food was creative dishes with all sorts or restaurants homes looked beautiful and the Anne frank museum is a must
Jordaan is basically a cluster of old houses, numerous canals,roadside cafes and shops.Walk leisurely down the streets soaking in the sarroundings. There were flowers blooming everywhere making the area colourful.
We were visiting my son and daughter in-law who were living in Amsterdam at the time .We spent quite a bit of time sight seeing in this area of the city walking and boating. My son and the old man even ventured out by bike...More
