We walked around peeking into these small boutiques and drinking Amstel Beer at the cafes. Lot's of unique little places, no chain stores here.

We walked around this neighborhood a few times and always stopping at different stores or trying different restaurants. It's so beautiful at night and a great place to try night photography. The sidewalks here are very narrow so be careful of bicyclists.

Try to find these nine streets through the canals: nice shops, a very good English/local market, good food. You can spend from 20 minutes to a a full afternoon in theese streets. Shops open from 11 to 18, so plan your time in advance.

A nice quaint neighbourhood full of boutiques and cafes. Nice stroll along the canal and watch the crowd go about their daily routine. Some streets are more picturesque than another but overall worth a look
