We booked on to the canal cruise during the day. It was very hot that day so please be careful and use sun tan lotion before you go. Some of the boat was under glass and we opted to be on the outside without cover....More

We heard of several Amsterdam canal cruises and they all sounded very similar to me. We picked Lovers because we wanted to get an overview look at Amsterdam before we did anything else and Lovers dock is just to your right when you exit the...More

We had a blast. Our captain Flip and our host Hilde were wonderful. The wine and cheese were tasty. It was lovely seeing the city at night. The only complaint is that the seating was cramped. I mean I was wedged in between the table...More

Amsterdam can be so busy and full of people and bikes so this is a nice way of relaxing and getting to look at things properly. There's an audio guide in different languages which was good, it told you information about different buildings you went...More

19 languages offered. Jam packed with historical information. This excursion departed a few steps from our hotel (Hampshire American). Take this tour; it's a "no-brainer!" First tour at 10am and every 45 minutes after that. Go early if you prefer to avoid the crowds.

Because of limited mobility in our party, this was a great way to see highlights, particularly those that were best viewed from canal routes. For the weary traveler, it was also relaxing and a nice break from nonstop backpacking. I appreciated the on-the-water perspective, and...More

I probably paid a little much at 16 euro for the one hour but the captain was informative with a sence of humor. Probably as good as any, there is a hop on and off one but i was happy with the hour

We opted for the 1 hour canal tour as we wanted to get a feel for the size of the city and the different areas. They offer a great tour, easy to pick up by central station and have many different cruises to choose from...More

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring

Hi - has anyone gone on the 24 hour hop on hop off ticket? I was wondering whether the tickets are truly valid for a 24 hour period from time of first boarding (e.g., if I board at 2PM on Monday, is it valid through 2PM on Tuesday?), or if they just mean that the ticket is valid for the day only when it is first used.

Hi, Im a Holland pass user and will arrived AMS on Dec. Below are my few queries. Please help me. 1. How to take 1hr Canal Cruises? directly go to Prins Hendrikkade 25 to exchange the ticket and book the time? and queue? 2. Could you tell me the 1hr Canal Cruises pathway? It will start from Central station and return to Central station? or where is the end point? 3. Can I get off the cruise earlier at somewhere? (for instance Zevenbogenbruggengracht) or the Zevenbogenbruggengracht is the end point? 4. Allow eating (fries or drink) during the 1hr Canal Cruises? Above are my queries. Thank you so much for answering.
