There is one bridge in Amsterdam’s central canal belt that gives a view of no less than 15 bridges. This unusual sight is found at the bridge crossing of the Reguliersgracht with the Herengracht, on the side with odd numbers. Standing on this bridge with your back to the Thorbeckeplein, you will see six arched bridges in a row. To the left you will find six more over the Herengracht and on the right you will see the next two. The 15th is the bridge you are standing on. It is particularly worth coming here at night as the bridges are illuminated giving one of the most beautiful and romantic views in Amsterdam.

On the Herengracht one of the bridges provides a remarkable view especially at night where you can see most of the bridges and the reflections of their lights in the distance. It's a magical scene in a city that is sometimes called "the city of magic". Strolling along the canals at night is perfectly safe and the sights to see... More

We used the Grey line canal boat during the day and the Lovers canal cruise in the evening both slowed to a stop to let us view the bridges If the weather is fine you are better viewing from the open end at the back of the boat as photos through glass do not always come out right. The night... More

The city of Amsterdam has an amazing canal system. For a local like me, it's a joy to ride with a bike from A to B, and every time I see something new.

We had no idea this was here. We were on a canal cruise tour from our Rhine cruise. The tour guide spools us to get our cameras ready. Lucky we were on the right side.

A must see for every tourist visiting Amsterdam. It's beautiful at day- and night time. Get your camera ready to shoot sone nice pictures. If you really want to see through the 7 bridges, you do have to take a boat. You can't spot this by walking.
