Self paced with audio guides and not extremely busy. The displays were very engaging and informative.

this is probably the best WWII Resistance museum that I've been to and it has a great area set aside for kids. Mostly resistance related, it only touches upon the fact that the Dutch government sided with the Germans while the queen was in exile...More

This museum gives additional information about how the Dutch resisted the Nazis. Small hand-held audio speakers guide you through the exhibits. Most of the artifacts are in Dutch, but you do get plenty of information in English. They had a lot of information that showed...More

This museum is included on the MuseumKaart and should not be missed by those interested in WW2. I preferred this museum to the Anne Frank house because it more depth and stories from many Dutch points of view. I was literally the only person at...More

A great museum which thoroughly explores the environment in the Netherlands in WWII, and the different responses/mindsets to Nazi occupation. Entry fee is very reasonable & they include a free audio guide, which is used throughout the museum.

The museum focuses on the occupation of the Netherlands by the Nazis and the reaction to it of the various different parts of Dutch society at the time. A very well put together museum and well worth a visit. Quite a small museum compared to...More

The museum itself is very interesting and well worth going to visit. My problem is, if you don’t have 20/20 vision, or can’t kneel, a lot of the exhibits are earned near unreadable. Many of the exhibits are in narrow windows, sharply angled. I get...More

No. They require online booking. You should book well in advance. Without online booking, long lines and only limited hours, may have to wait 3 hours. .Unfortunately we could not visit it.

Tram 14 will take you there in about 20 minutes (stop: Artis zoo, Plantage kerklaan), but it's a nice 30 minutes walk through the city center; follow signs to Artis zoo.
