This canal has to e one of the prettiest in Amsterdam. With plenty of action on the water, tons of bridges to cross, and the 16th and 17th century architecture to admire. Spend some time looking at the houses and how unique they are.

de Corner of the Brouwersgracht and Prinsengracht is one of the best views of the Amsterdam Canals, it really gives a good idea on how it was in the old days and the living proof that the city in still very much alive !

This is really what people think of when they think of Amsterdam--the tree-lined canals, houseboats, narrow canal-side lanes. Perfect for strolling and looking at the different styles of canal houses.
