Escape the hustle and bustle of the city center, and sail with our historical boats to Amsterdam Castle Muiderslot or Fortress Island Pampus! We are the only company that offers this adventurous and interesting tour, to some of the best kept secrets of Amsterdam.

Did you know that Amsterdam Castle Muiderslot is already 700 years old, and the best kept medieval castle of Holland? Or visit fortress Island Pampus, where soldiers lived untill world war I. Both destinations offer ample activities to discover the unique Dutch water defence works, and military history. Or just relax and enjoy the sunny ride!

The ferry service is carried out with a traditional barge, built in 1899, and is named Sailboa. On board you'll find a fully equipped bar, toilets, a flush deck with tables and chairs and for cold and wet days the interior is heated!

Great way to get to Muiderslot!

We grabbed the #26 tram at Centraal, and took it to the end of the line. Since we were a bit early to catch the boat, we said hello to the crew and then had a quick cup of coffee over at a small Cafe & restaurant right next to the docks. It was a beautiful and relaxing ride to... More

It was very nice, the captain and the crew, they made jokes, we felt very well, drank a glass of wine and enjoyed Amsterdam viewings!

We took tram 26 to catch the ferry to Castle Muiderslot. The Skipper was very friendly and had a great sence of hunour. We sat inside and had dome drinks but for warmer weather there is outside seating. Had a great day!!

5 of us took the number 26 tram from the central station in Amsterdam to the end of the line. Then we walked to the marina caught the 11am boat to Muiderslot Castle which takes 45 minutes. A very pleasant crossing was followed by an extensive look at the historic gardens. We then walked to the town and had lunch... More

We took a tram to Centraal Satation and then the #26 tram to the end of the line. A couple of hundred yards north of where the tram leaves you off is the marina, and on the western side of the marina are moored the 2 ships of the Tourist Ferry (Verdienst Amsterdam), one of which took us to Muiderslot... I heard about this company and the ferry trip at the TA forum and wanted to try it myself. As I had any questions/problems in advance I send the owner some mails and I got very friendly replies, hints and contact infos for the emergency case immediately! Unfortunately (for me) on my travel date the boat was booked by a... More

A quick tram ride (26) from Central Station and you are rewarded with a fabulous ferry ride to Muiderslot. Ferry served drinks and snacks. And affords an amazing view as you approach the castle. As you get off at the backyard to the castle, they tell you what time to come back (2 1/2 hrs later) It is by far... More

15 minutes on tram26 from centraal station, you arrive at IJburg, an island protruding into IJmere. The old ferry boat, lovingly restored takes you on a peaceful ride across the lake to Muiderslot, a picturesque European castle. The owners of the boat were happy to take my fiancée and I across even though we were the only customers, supplemented by... More

I think the other reviewers have got a bit mixed up confusing this trip with the central Amsterdam tourist canal trips. This one goes from IJ jetty which is a 15 minute tram ride from Central Station on line 26. It offers a completely different experience and one I would recommend if you want to see another side of the... More
