The TenBoom family saved more than 800 people by hiding them in a "Hiding Place" behind a false wall in Corries already small bedroom. This free tour is very moving. We plan to go to Anne Frank house tomorrow. Its very interesting to learn about this time period through the perspective of both hiders, and hidden.

Having read the Hiding place and it being one of my favorite books, this was a tour I booked when I found out I'd be able to be in Amsterdam. We took the train to Haarlem and walked to the shop. Although slightly late, they did let us in for the tour and I was so grateful they did! The... More

Wow. If only there were more ten Boom families in this world! Step back into time and walk through the remarkable story of Corrie, Casper, Betsy and the rest of the ten Boom Family. Reservations are easily made from the official web site and the cost of this one hour guided tour is ZERO (but please make a generous donation... More

I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Corrie ten Boom. What an incredible lady she was. Our guide was fantastic and I felt that this intimate visit was a very interesting and valuable experience. Corrie ten Boom isn't as famous as Anne Frank, but I would argue that the way they style these tours makes the experience much more real. Be... More

We did not hear about Corrie ten boom before we came to the museum. The guide was terrific, she told the story in such an interesting way, full of emotion. The story was told from the Cristian religious point of view. If you don't feel comfortable listening to that point of view you might not enjoy the visit. We found... More

The passion and commitment of the volunteers who guide you through the house is excellent and is a very intimate and inspiring story of the young Corrie and her family who dedicated their lives to anyone in need of help during the Nazi occupation. You can only take photos of the hiding place in the attic - a room conceived... More

I've grown up with the story of Corrie ten Boom and the role she played in WWII and I've read The Hiding Place, but even for those who don't know much about her, this tour is amazing. The guide tells her story well and intertwines all aspects of her beliefs with the story of how she was able to help... More

The house is a nice walk from the train station, but it is well worth it. The museum door is located in the alley by Ten Boom jewelers. They don't take reservations for the afternoon tours, but they allow more people on those tours as well (20 as compared to 9 in the morning). Make sure you check the green... More

I had the opportunity to hear corrie ten boom speak back in 1978. Seeing this place brought things full circle. The guide gives you the history of the family and then you get to see the Hiding place, where Corrie and her family hid Jews from the Nazi's. They were caught and sent to a death camp. Corrie was used... More

My family and I arrived an hour early for the tour. They only take 20 people on the tour and we wanted to secure our spot in line. They open the door promptly at the time of your tour and they lead you up to the family living room where you are given a brief history and then you are... More
