The windmill is fairly close to the Amsterdamse Poort. So when you visit one, it is worth visiting the other. It is a nice easy walk from the Grote Markt and even closer from the port. It wasn’t open when I was there, but looking...More

The windmill is no longer working but is well preserved and has interesting insights into how the Mills worked. Nice views of Haarlem from the top. Charming walk between windmill and center of Haarlem.

If you’re in Haarlem and looking for something to do, it’s worth stopping in at Molen de Adriaan. I wasn’t sure about paying €3.50 to go inside, but the inner workings of the mill and the models on display are pretty interesting. I agree with...More

We were very pleasantly surprised at the informative tour of the windmill. It takes about 45min in total and is well worth the modest fee.
